I spent several hours online last night trying to look at paper options . As it turns out, it is almost impossible to track down any legal size (8.5 inch x 14 inch) paper in most office stores online or art stores that is'nt the flimsy copy paper width (20lb paper).
In today's visits to four different office supply stores as well as an art store and a photography store today, it was the same story all over again.I did come close at one point to finding what I wanted -- Xerox offers pastel legal sized cardstock, but they do not have it in bright white at that size.GAH. I bought some Xerox 8pt glossy sheets at the 11x17 size out of desperation and plan to try to cut it down and experiment with it. (SIX STORES. GAH)
I'm not happy because I like my paper to fit my needs and not make images fit paper. So I may have to go back to the drawing board and reproportion some image/collages if I can't find some kind of paper online at some point. Or I may have to print larger, waste lots of space on images (because these are panoramic scaled), and then pay someone to cut them or stand at Kinkos like a dork as I cut sheets individually at some strange time at night.
Sitll looking... if you have advice on paper vendors that stock heavyweight papers good for photographic purposes (and inkjet friendly) post away.
IN other news ,Shonen Jump gave away free comics as part of Free Comic Book day (today) and I picked up two copies of their issue because there's a nice foldout poster from Bleach in color. You know... the one where all their kimono tops are open XDDDDD
Fraggin tired and irritated right now. Paper shouldn't be this hard to track down. RAAAAAA.

And I'll be uploading an awesome statue of Silver Surfer that was being auctioned off. Would have been neat to win it but where the crap would I put it? Lol.
Right now I'm reading Tiny Titans because this paper business is still putting me in a megola foul mood.

Geez, not even Epson or Kodak has that size. There's a site I've seen called paperworks.com (they're a Rhode Island based paper company) that has some 8.5x14 semi-gloss photo paper that they make, though. It's 48lb and 2-sided and they have a matte version, too, but that's the only place I found out of the paper sites I'm familiar with that has it. They also carry Xerox brand papers that size, but the descriptions all say that they're meant for brocures/presentations, so I don't know if those would work for you.
Thanks for the link! I might use that or just ask to buy sheets at a bigger size and cut them down. At least all the copy stores have paper cutters so I will try to find a heavy weight tabloid size paper to work with and go from there.
